Gluten-Free Fruity White Sangria

Sep 11, 2020

Fresh, fruity, and delicious - this sangria is the perfect way to end the summer.

There's something nostalgic about the end of summer. Even a COVID summer! Remembering all the beach days, the cookouts, the outdoor dining... and as hard as it is to say goodbye to our good weather here in Massachusetts, we still have a bit longer to spend time outdoors with friends and family - just wearing hoodies! :)

This sangria is the perfect addition to your end-of-summer cookouts (or beach picnics?). Fresh, fruity, and a little sweet - it'll be a hit with everyone! Might pair well with this other fan-favorite. ..

Gluten-Free Fruity White Sangria

What you need:

  • 1 bottle of white wine - I use Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1/2 cup Cointreau or Grand Marnier
  • 1 each: orange, lemon, lime
  • 8 fresh strawberries
  • 16oz Sprite

What you do:

  1. Thinly slice orange, lemon, lime, and strawberries and set aside.
  2. Mix together the wine, Cointreau, and fruit in a pitcher.
  3. Place in fridge, and let sit overnight for best flavor (or at least 4 hours).
  4. When ready to serve, add the 16oz of Sprite.
  5. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Tips

  • Let wine, Cointreau and fruit sit in the fridge overnight. It'll enhance the fruit flavor!
  • Use a dry white wine, like Pinot Grigio. But - you can't go wrong!

Enjoy!
